Frequently Asked Questions

What is included with my rental?

Kayak Rentals include the kayak, a PFD, Paddles and seat backs if required.

Bike Rentals Include the bicycle of your choice and a helmet.

Do I need to bring beverages with me ?

It is extremely important that everyone keep well hydrated at all times especially when exercising outdoors in our South Florida heat. You may bring your own water/beverage with you or you may purchase at the park an assortment of Coca Cola Products, Dassani Water and Power Ade..

Are kayaks easy to tip over?

Kayaks aren't any more tippy than canoes or any other small boats. The difference is in the center of gravity in both boats. A canoe has to be wider because the paddler is up higher in the boat. Kayaks can be narrower (which increases performance) because one sits very low in the boat. In a kayak you also have the advantage of your paddle. Just like a tightrope walker you have a pole held across your body that increases your balance. All of our kayaks were chosen with the beginner in mind. They are wider and provide excellent stability.

If I can't swim, can I still go on a trip?

Sure! Swimming skills are not a requirement. Everyone is required to wear a PFD (Personal Flotation Device) at all times while on the water.

What If I do fall in?

Our guides will go over what to do prior to you getting in the water.

How long is the Rental?

The duration of your outing depends on You! You may stay as long as you like, we will only charge you for the time you stayed out ( 1 hour minimum) .

What do I bring with me?

See the trip checklist page. We provide dry bags for small items. Soft coolers work best.

Do you offer Rental bikes with Baby seats?

Unfortunately We do not. If you have an infant and want to take him cycling you must do so with your own gear.
